The MOSAIC study is investigating the effects of a walking programme supplemented with motivational interviewing on peripheral artery disease patients with intermittent claudication. Patients are randomly assigned to either the motivational interviewing intervention or their usual standard of care.

CORKA

Study comparing home care with usual care in patients who are deemed to be at risk of poor outcome following total knee replacement. After surgery, patients are randomly assigned to receiving their standard physiotherapy care either at home or as normal at the hospital over a period of 18 months.

ARTISAN (Acute Rehabilitation following Traumatic anterior shoulder dISlocAtioN: A Multi Centre RCT)

The primary objective is to test the addition of tailored physiotherapy to a single session of advice with a single session of advice only, for adults with first time TASD managed non-operatively. This is a joint venture between orthopaedics and physiotherapy with Mr Rohit Gupta and Caroline Coulthard acting as co-Priciple Investigators.

The study is Co-sponsorsed by the University of Warwick and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and is supported by the NIHR, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Programme.
