An update on ADHD Services from North West Surrey Clinical Commissioning Group and Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals.

North West Surrey CCG have been looking at the best way of providing sustainable ADHD services to children and their families and planned to re-commission the ADHD service currently provided at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals with a new provider from October 2017. However, the re-commissioning of this service has been delayed.

North West Surrey CCG would like to reassure patients that they are working collaboratively with Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals to ensure the best possible service is secured as quickly as possible and that there is a smooth and safe transition of care to the new provider, once they are appointed. In the meantime, ADHD clinics will continue to run at St. Peter's Hospital and patients should attend their appointments as normal

We acknowledge that this process has taken longer than any of us would have liked and apologise for any uncertainty or inconvenience caused. We will be updating patients by the end of December 2017 or as soon as a new provider has been appointed, to explain arrangements for transferring the service in a smooth and safe way.

If you have any queries about the current ADHD clinic at St Peter’s Hospital, please call 01932 722764; or if you have any further queries about changes to this service then please direct them to North West Surrey CCG by calling 01372 232400.
