About the Trust
We are the largest provider of acute hospital services in Surrey serving a population of over 410,000 people in North West Surrey, parts of Hounslow and beyond.
Over 3,700 highly trained doctors, nurses, midwives, therapists, healthcare scientists and other support staff make up our workforce, providing a wide range of services across our two hospitals, Ashford in Middlesex and St Peter’s in Chertsey.
We also run many specialist clinics in the community at local community hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
What our patients say about us
There are a number of ways that patients and visitors can send us their feedback about care at our hospitals.
What the CQC said about us
The independent health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), has rated Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as ‘Good’ following their inspection in December.

Living and Working in Surrey
Within easy reach of London, as well as the smaller towns of Weybridge, Woking, and Virginia Water, the local area has excellent independent and state schools. Leafy Surrey offers a rounded life outside of work, and as an ambitious Trust, Ashford and St. Peter’s offers opportunities for individuals to try new things and to gain exposure, and a supportive and welcoming team in which to do this.
We are a Stonewall Diversity Champion
The Trust is committed to ensuring the needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) employees and service users are understood and met both in policy and practice.
We have joined Stonewall (LGB charity) to help us to achieve those aims.
